

Jeffrey Craig Hand. was called to rest on September 10, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 45. He was born in Port Hueneme, California to Eugene Hand, Sr. and Theresa Wimbley Chappell on October 3, 1967.
His early years were spent in Oxnard, CA where he attended Elementary through High School. During his elementary school years he became interested in sports and played Little League Baseball. He later attended Oxnard Union High School and became an outstanding athlete excelling in football and track.
Jeffrey later resided in Fresno, CA where he worked as a caregiver for many years. He recently relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked in security and became active in the community.
Jeffrey was easy going, very respectful and helpful, always looking out for others. When ever you saw Jeffrey, he always had a smile. He was an outgoing and loving person who enjoyed music, sports and simply meeting and talking to people. Jeffrey loved the Lord, he accepted the Lord at an early age. He enjoyed reading and studying the Bible and became well versed in the scriptures.
Jeffrey ran a great race during his time with us and he would hope that those he leaves behind would continue to live their lives to the fullest with God at the helm.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Huelon and Bobbie Jean Lyghts. His maternal grandparents Herbert Wimbley and Winnie Jewel Wimbley Watkins.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother Theresa Wimbley Chappell of Oxnard, CA; his father Elder Eugene Hand, Sr. of Fresno, CA; his children Mercedes Hand Quackenbush (Michael) of Las Vegas, NV; Christopher Hand of Chicago, Ill; Marcus Nance, San Diego, CA; two sisters Regina Hand Sims (Marcus) Fresno, CA; Keyla Hand Parker, Memphis, TN; two brothers, Sean Hand, Oxnard, CA; Eugene Hand Jr. Memphis, TN; three grandchildren Zamiranaya Hand, Myzael Quackenbush, Elena Nance; special friend Adriana Stall of Las Vegas, NV; Godmother Mary Ingram of Oxnard, CA; God-sister Jamelah "Peach" Moll (Jason) Brentwood, CA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
