Maria Luisa Fino Roa, 67, went to be with Our Heavenly Father on November 2, 2019. Maria Luisa known as "Luisa" was born on March 15, 1952 in Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to the United States as a teen. Where she worked hard to help her parents achieve the American dream and become home owners. She later met her husband and had 6 children. Although Luisa became a single mother she was fiercely determined to raise her children.

Luisa loved all her family and looked forward to all time spent with her family. She loved to dance, at times being the first one on the dance floor. Her daily routine included gardening, exercising (walking or zumba). She had a passion for knitting and crocheting; she enjoyed making beanies, scarfs and slippers for all the family when the season called for it.

Luisa is survived by five children; Felipe Roa, Luz A. Roa, Maria G. Roa, Yudin Z. Roa, and Alberto Roa. 16 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Her Father, Jesus Fino and five siblings. Luisa's Daughter; Maria de Jesus Roa and her Mother Maria Paz Fino, both predeceased her.

Luisa's viewing and rosary will be held on November 13, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel, 401 West Channel Islands Blvd, Oxnard at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on November 14, 2019 at Santa Clara Church, 323 South E Street at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Santa Clara Cemetery. Her fun, loving, perpetuous free spirit will be dearly missed.

Mama, I miss you so much... I have been having a really hard time processing this loss. I am stuck on denial. I felt you were taken from us, This is not fair.
- Mama, I just want you to know that you did a really good job with raising some good strong, independent children. You taught us how to be good and kind people.. You taught us how to be loyal individuals and how to stand up for equal treatment and of course how to always work for what you want.
You were such a loving, considerate, and humble mother. You were so good to us, even at the end of your time. You payed for your funeral services and picked out your own stuff. You did all this to not burden your children. You are a true example of what a great mother is. I learned a whole lot from you, you showed me how to be a good woman and a good mother.
My children and the other small grandbabies will miss out on an amazing grandma. The rest of the grown grandchildren will also miss out on their abuelita.
Thank you for everything you left behind. I will forever miss our chisme nights. I love you momma. La Amo y la extrano mucho.

Todavia no puedo creerlo.

I have so many memories to share but one thing you've mainly taught me is to love one another and to never be mad especially when it comes to family. Give your love. Memories I have about my grandma was she loved to walk on her long strolls, loved to gamble on the loteria cards, always asking where the partys at, and always made the bombest breakfast too! Until we meet again abuelita. Your Grandson Anthony. (My mind doesn't forget you. I miss you and I love you.)
