aphasia.
Waiting for him in heaven is his Father Alfred Arellano, his sister Mary Garcia, Grandmother Concepcion Orosco and many other relatives and friends that have passed on before him.
Left to cherish Rigo’s memory are his Mother Virginia Arellano, his Daughter Valerie Ramos and her family starting with Rigo’s son in law, Frank Ramos, Rigo’s grandchildren, Anthony Arellano, Angelica, Cassandra, and Delia Ramos. Rigo’s memory will also be cherished by his sister, Isabel Reyes and brother David Arellano, along with nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Some of the things that Rigo will be most remembered for was his dream of being a meteorologist, and his love for geology. His Mother remembers during high school summer vacations they would fly students out to San Nicolas Island to learn and experiment with meteorology from Point Mugu which is how Rigo became an employee for Point Mugu. While his brother David remembers Rigo going out into the fields to catch and collect reptiles and rocks and how amazing it was that he knew the names of each and every single one. Rigo had a brilliant mind and was successful in laser technology. He could do anything. His sister Isabel will cherish the memories of listening to their favorite old school songs together, cruising in his most cherished car, (the white Monte Carlo) and dancing at Jolly’s or The Casbah with their friends.
Rigo’s daughter Valerie and her family will cherish their time together on their weekly visits and would like to thank the staff at The Ventura Grand Chateau for taking part in caring for her father.
Rigo was a loving, thoughtful and kind hearted man who was against violence. His family will remember him for his smile, his laugh, his hugs, his sense of humor and his love for God. This is not goodbye, it’s a see you later. Until then, know that you will be missed and we love you. May you rest in peace and love in the heavens above.
