Rosie L Wright

She was preceded in death by her son, Sammie Joe Wright, on April 22, 2009, and her daughter, Donna Sue Merridith, on July 12, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Sammie D. Wright of Port Hueneme, and her daughter, Jolene and son-in-law, Andy Johnson of Camarillo. She also is survived by her five grandchildren, Annalee, Mandy, Sammie Jr., Tracie, Travis; her daughter-in-law, Sally; and seven great-grandchildren.

She had a wonderful laugh and never met a stranger. She loved unconditionally and made friends easily. She is missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing her. She also leaves behind the many friends and caregivers at Shoreline Care Center.

Viewing will be held between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad's & James Reardon Funeral Home, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard, CA 93033, 487-4911. A Memorial Service will be held at the gravesite at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, 2052 Howard Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012. All are invited to share their memories of Rosie.
