1943-2020
Sarah V. Juarez, born July 16, 1943, peacefully passed away with her daughter, nephew, and friends by her side on December 6, 2020. She was a long-time resident of Oxnard and member of the Apostolic church of Oxnard in the faith Christ Jesus.
She will be remembered dearly by her family Helen (daughter), Siobhan (Granddaughter), Michael Juarez (nephew), Dolores Avendano (sister), Teofilo Valdez (brother), Julia Garza (sister), and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She enjoyed spending her time with her granddaughter, and her partner in life-her husband David. She also enjoyed time with her church family and was involved in her ladies group "the Dorcas" at the Apostolic Church of Oxnard for most of her life. There she was a leader, a singer, and contributed to fundraisers for the church and their missionaries.
Sarah is survived by her sisters, Julia Garza, Dolores Avendano, and brother Teofilo Valdez. She was preceded in death by her husband David, parents Jesus and Maria, brothers; Benjamin and Abraham, and sisters, Frances, Amalia, and Esther.
A Celebration of Life and Committal Service will be held Friday, December 18th, 10:00am at Revive Community Church, 2640 Alvarado St. Oxnard (El Rio). Internment will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
