Boykin Andrews

Funeral services will be 11:00 Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Ozark, 724 Andrews Avenue, with Pastor Leonard T. Evans, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Boykin was born August 11, 1925 to the late Jim Andrews and Zeola Boykin Andrews. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a master brick mason and carpenter. He later became an instructor for Wallace Community Colleges’ Brick Masonry Department. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Ozark.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Andrews.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverly Chandler Andrews of Ozark, AL.; sons, Ronald B. Andrews of Ozark, AL. and David ( Shawand) of Baltimore, MD.; daughters, Nell Andrews of Brockport, NY., Jennifer (John) Mack of Chesapeake, VA., and Beverly Andrews of Ozark, AL.; daughter in law, Imani Goodwin of Enterprise, AL.; a brother, David (Janice) Andrews of Brundidge, AL., and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and close friends.
