Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Thursday, April 21, 2011, in the chapel at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Ariton Universalist Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to the service.

Chris was born December 17, 1964 in Layfette, France to James Franklin and Betty Joyce Ward. He was employed with Great Southern Wood until his illness in 2011.

Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Joyce Ward and a brother, Kelly James Ward.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda Ward; three daughters, Harley Ward of Eufaula, Brianna Ward of Ozark and Jessica Lynn Ward Liscum of Ft. Meyers, FL; a son, Tyler Ward of Ft. Myers, FL; his father, James Franklin Ward of Huntsville; his sisters, Tammy Ward of North Carolina and Jennifer Ward of Orlando, FL; his brothers, Timmy Ward of Ozark and Craig Ward of Dothan; one grandson, Payton Williamson.
