

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Pinckard Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Stone and Rev. David Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Pinckard Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark. Visitation will be held at Pinckard Baptist Church from 2:00 p.m. Thursday until service time. Flowers will be accepted or the family asks that memorials be made to Pinckard Baptist Church, P.O. Box 188, Pinckard, AL 36371 or Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
Mrs. Trawick, a native of Dale County, was a life time member of Pinckard Baptist Church where she faithfully and lovingly served her church. She taught Sunday School, was the Girls Auxiliary (G.A.) leader, and a member of the W.M.U. Her community service included membership in the Home Demonstration Club and the Pinckard Study Club. She was affectionately known as “Miss Dillie”. She was preceded in death by her parents: David Wesley and Talitha Barwick Howell; husband, Lemuel Phillip Trawick; sisters: Fanny French, Minnie Tyson, Lillie Coffman; and brothers: Buddy Howell, Carson Howell.
Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Ann Lewis, and husband, Rex; one granddaughter, Kimberly Lewis Pace, and husband Chuck; and two great-grandchildren: Hunter Pace and Aaron Pace, all of Pinckard.
Serving as pallbearers will be: John Ferguson, Chester Faulkner, Greg McGhee, Chris Johnson, Bert Curry, Jeff Walding, Charles Weed, and Bobby Courtney. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Snell and Max Thomley.
The family expresses their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Westside Terrace and Covenant Hospice.
