Frank Douglas Middleton

He served our country in the United States Army, and Alabama National Guard, active and reserve, between 2001 and 2013. He supported his unit as a Combat Medic, serving his fellow soldiers honorably and selflessly through two deployments to Iraq.

He was a loving son, brother, and husband, and a devoted father to Bryan Christenson, Sam Middleton, and Jason Kyle and Tyler Mayberry. He worked tirelessly in recent years, providing caring support as a Patient Care Technician at Baptist South E.R. in Montgomery and Troy Regional Medical Center, while studying to complete a nursing degree.

Frank was a good and decent man who left us all too soon. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sue Patrelli of Fresno, CA, sisters, Mrs. Jennifer (Jim) Eachus and Mrs. Kristina (David) Parker of Fresno and Clovis, CA respectively, his wife, Mrs. Amy Walker Middleton of Ozark, his four sons, and a large extended family.

Frank’s family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
