SFC (Retired) John "Sarge" Edward Bryant

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Bryant was born in Rossville, Ga. on August 18, 1932. After serving 20 years and six months, he retired as a Sergeant First Class from the United States Army. Mr. Bryant was the owner of Eastgate Lawnmower Repair since 1975. “Sarge” enjoyed fishing and visiting with his “Coffee Table” buddies.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bryant, and his son, Johnny Bryant.

Mr. Bryant is survived by three daughters, one son, one sister, three brothers and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
