

A memorial service will be at 3:00pm Sunday, June 10, 2012 in the chapel at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Deacon John Ross officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sunday. No burial will follow as her wishes were to be cremated.
Marlene was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to the late John and Ethel Roadway Attenberger. She retired from Civil Service at Fort Rucker in January, 2007 with 31 years of service, most with the Directorate of Public Works. Marlene recently worked for URS Corporation at Fort Rucker. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Thursday Night Gutterettes Bowling League in Enterprise and was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Resecker, Sr.; brothers, Larry and Richard Attenberger and a sister, Janice Pape.
Marlene is survived by her son, John “JR” Resecker Jr. and a daughter, Druanne Resecker, both of Ozark; her grandson, Tosh Teeter of Ozark; sisters, Drusilla Attenberger and Darlene Pape of Greensburg, PA; her brothers, Barry Attenberger (Beverly) and Fred Attenberger of Greensburg, PA, Edward Attenberger (Mary Ella) of Jeannette, PA and Ken Attenberger (Leslie) of Frisco, Texas; special niece, Jayme Flock of Greensburg, PA; also surviving are numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
