Mildred A McLean Thompson

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in the chapel at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 27 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thompson was born June 10, 1919 in Dale County, AL to Charlie and Mattie Andrews McLean. She was a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Ed Thompson; four sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Patrick of Ozark, Elaine Byrd (Clarence) of Enterprise; her son, John Will Thompson (Lou) of Enterprise; seven grandchildren, Tammy Medley, Lisa DeNamur (Dr. William), Jeffery Byrd (Chantal), Sherry Hazim (Walid), Scotty Patrick (Stephanie), Christy R-Van-Larre (Greg) and Donny Patrick (Season); also surviving are her eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
