A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church, Wicksburg, Alabama with Pastor Buddy Hood officiating.
Mr. Gardner honorably served his country with 20 years in the Army including a tour in Vietnam. He retired in Daleville and attended Pilgrim Home Baptist Church. He was adamant about serving God, family, and country.
He is survived by his loving wife, Fran; a son, Robert; two daughters: Michelle and Teresa; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
