

She was born December 10, 1937 in Meadville, Pennsylvania to Harry and Sara Gill, and was later adopted at the age of 12 by Carl and Clista Schumm.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM Monday, January 21, 2013, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Hill officiating.
She is survived by two sons, Deron McCarter of Ozark, AL and Craig McCarter of Lake Placid, FL; a daughter, Karen Bates, and husband, Richie, of Ozark, AL; and six grandchildren: Andrew Land, Steven and Ally McCarter and Hunter, Holden and Peyton Sanders.
Kiki liked to bake and sew. She enjoyed watching sports of all kinds and solving crossword puzzles and cryptograms. Above all, she loved the time spent with her cherished grandchildren, Kiki was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church of Ozark and will be especially remembered for her quick wit, her unfailing optimism and her smile that could light up a room.
