Walter D. Green passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, after a valiant struggle against A.M.L. Though he has left us to be present with our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, our thoughts and memories of this man who loved his family deeply remain, and our love for him lives on.
Walt is survived by his wife, Linda Pawvlik Green; son, D.J. Green of Ariton; daughter, Dawn Marie Green of Ozark; brother, Walter (Lou Ellen) Green, Jr. of Franklin Park, New Jersey; sister Ravina (John) McIntyre of York, Maine; step-brother, Tom (Liz) Tarlazzi of Huddleston, Virginia; cousin, Donna (Frank) Mekulsia of Pennsville, New Jersey; grandchildren, Timothy David Green and Michael Anthony Green of Ozark; several nieces and nephews.
Psalms 100:4-5 says, “Enter into the Lord’s gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations.” And so one more has passed through those gates and we are thankful for the Lord’s everlasting mercy. Amen.
