A memorial service will be held Saturday June 25, 2022 at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay, FL.
Anna Mae was born February 7, 1929 in Queens, NY. She graduated from Far Rockaway High School in 1948.
She began working as an Operator for New York Telephone Company in 1953. Anna Mae moved to Florida in 1962 and began working for Southern Telephone Company. In 1964, she moved to Connecticut and began working for Southern New England Telephone where she was a Hiring Supervisor. She moved up into the role of Switching Systems and Electronic Switching Systems until she retired in 1981.
She was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, Florida.
Anna Mae loved her family and spent countless hours writing cards and making phone calls to the ones she loved. She enjoyed hosting parties, traveling, taking her grandchildren to Disney and the beach, and cooking.
Anna Mae is survived by her Son, Frank M. Gugel; 2 Grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Desirae Gugel, Daniel and Jaclyn Anderer; 1 great-grandchild, Logan Gugel; and 2 sisters, Marilyn Rea and Donna Reinhardt.
She was preceded in death by her two loves, Joseph C. Greco and Francis W. Gugel; and her sister Viola K. Weber.
