Freeland Bolyard. They shared 64 years of marriage together.
Born in Terra Alta, West Virginia, he was the son of Ferris T. Bolyard and
Effie O. Hoffman. He graduated from Preston High School, in Kingwood,
West Virginia in 1955. He was employed by the Federal Government in
Washington, DC and worked as Water Works Supervisor.
He was a member of Melbourne First Baptist Church of Melbourne, FL.
He enjoyed nature, sports, hunting, fishing, carpentry, working in the
yard, church family, and spending time with the love of his life. He will be
remembered for his strong Christian faith, integrity, honesty, and sense
of humor. Glenn never forgot a birthday, marking the calendar a year
in advance and sending birthday cards he’d chosen especially for the
recipient.
He is survived by spouse, Mary L. Bolyard, children, Valerie Bolyard-
Kaufmann (Dr. Gary Kaufmann) of Palm Bay, FL; Marcia Bolyard Miller
(Rev. T.R. Miller) of Nicholasville, KY. grandchildren, Melissa Miller-Upton
(Major), T.J. Miller, Jordan Barnes (Tamya) and Benjamin Barnes; great
grandchildren, Sadie Upton and Se’Riah Barnes; and Granddog, Roxy
Balboa; three sisters, Shela Frum, Sharyn Tourville, (Ron), Ferrie Ann,
(Carl), and brother John Bolyard, (Judy).
Mary Louise Bolyard, 83, passed away on Wednesday, 30 June 2021
in Palm Bay Community Hospital. She was the widow of B. Glenn
Bolyard. They shared 64 years of marriage together.
Born in Masontown, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Clarence
and Lucille Freeland. She graduated from Masontown High School. She
was employed at the Central Intelligent Agency (CIA) as a document
specialist/editor.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Melbourne, FL. She
enjoyed eating out with friends, playing games on her phone,
socializing, shopping, church family, and spending time with the love
of her life. She will be remembered for her laughter, quick wit, and
generous spirit.
She was predeceased by her husband, Glenn (20 May 2021). She
is survived by two daughters, Valerie Bolyard-Kaufmann (Dr. Gary
Kaufmann) of Palm Bay, FL and Marcia Bolyard Miller (Rev. T.R.
Miller) of Nicholasville, KY; grandchildren, Melissa Miller Upton
(Major), T.J. Miller, Jordan Barnes (Tamya) and Benjamin Barnes; great
grandchildren, Sadie Upton and Se’Riah Barnes; and Granddog, Roxy
Balboa; and sister Maxine.
