Bernard “Speed” Kalete, 84, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Calumet City, Illinois and came to Brevard County in 2000. He was retired from the Seminole County School System.
Bernard is survived by his loving wife, Winifred Kaleta; sons, Richard (Susan) Kaleta, Robert (Patricia) Kaleta, and Timothy (Barbara) Kaleta; 6 grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Bryan, Dawn, and Adam; and great-grandchildren, Jayden, Shawn, Brooklynn, Bryce, Blake, Makayla, and Layla.
A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 6-8pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home, with a funeral on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
