Bernice Constantine Rhoden, 92, of Palm Bay died Monday (4/1) in a local hospital. A native of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, WI, she came to the Palm Bay area in 1998 from Brooklyn, New York. A very devoted Christian, she was a member of the Anglican/Episcopal faith.
Survivors include her sons: Cecil Irving of White Plains, NY, Carlton Rhoden of New Jersey, Dwight Rhoden of Westchester, NY; daughters: Beverly Tingle of Bronx, NY, Brenda Rhoden and Mary Lobban both of Palm Bay; brother: Joseph Frances of South Bay; sisters: Mavis Francis of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Ruth Dwyer of Toronto, Canada; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Bernice was preceded in death by one son Kenneth.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 4/13, at 4:30 PM in the Grace Bible Church, 3620 Bayside Lakes Blvd SE, Palm Bay. Friends may call at the church Saturday from 3:30 until time of service. Cremation will follow services.
