

Bonnie JoAnn was born in Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL on March 3rd, 1938 to the late Joseph Paul and Irene Ludlum, to whom she was the apple of their eye.
Bonnie JoAnn was a lady of many colors. She retired in Dec. 1989 from the EF Hutton Cooperation as the operation manager of their 5 offices in Brevard County. She worked for numerous brokerage firms for 33 years and ended with EF Hutton, where when she spoke people listened. She volunteered as a Pink Lady for several years, was a member of the Beta Sigma PHI social sorority. After moving into the A1A Condo Association she served on many committees and became a pillar of the community. Jo was a true "Southern Bell." Cooking and entertaining were her passion.
She married H. Edson Potter in 1967. They spent 25 wonderful years together working, traveling, and entertaining.
She is survived by her significant other Richard Sampson of 10 years, niece Debbie Potter-Lang, nephews, William (Wendy) Potter, Don (Nancy) Potter, John (Marcy) Potter, and niece Mary (Richard) Ruddy. Many great nephews and nieces. She also leaves behind dear friend Peggy (David) Cronic and many other close friends, Aunt, Mary Gentile of Bradenton, FL and Cousin Debbie Porter of Bradenton, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband Ed Potter.
Her wishes were to have a special thank-you for the amazing care she received during her illness from the St. Francis Hospice Group where donations can be made.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm at the Fountainhead Funeral Home where funeral services will be held following visitation at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
