Charles H. King "Chuck", 78, of West Melbourne, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, Chuck joined the United States Air Force, serving at many different Air Force bases including time spent in Germany before retiring after 24 years of honorable service. He moved to Florida in 1985 to be closer to family.
Chuck attended Community Church of Christ in Palm Bay. He enjoyed oil painting landscape portraits and flowers. He enjoyed traveling with his wife of 57 years, Margaret.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Margaret; children: Stephen King (wife, Edee) and Karen Carraway (husband, Roman); brother, Earl King (wife, Lynne); sister, Diana Heiman; three grandsons: Joshua and Jordan Carraway and Russell King.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2PM at Community of Christ Church: 1901 Emerson Drive SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
An inurnment with military honors will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 2:30PM.
