Christine Nelson Stephens, 56, of Palm Bay, passed away Sunday, October 11th, 2015, after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. Born May 24th, 1959, she is the daughter of Earl D. and Arlette Nelson of Melbourne.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark L. Stephens, Sr.; son, Mark L. Stephens, Jr.; and daughter, Kelly L. Stephens. She is also survived by her brothers, Gary (Shirley) Nelson and Dale (Charlotte) Nelson. She was a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews.
Christine worked for a local perinatologist's office until her cancer rendered her unable to work at the end of 2013. She loved needlepoint, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, Florida on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice.
