Cindy was one of the most generous, big hearted people I have ever known. She cared deeply for the people that she called family. Thanks to Cindy and Gary my family has experienced memories that will last a lifetime. I will miss her daily, but I know that she is with the Lord and no longer suffering. May God bless her family that is having to deal with the hole that is left in their hearts. Cindy keep your hand on us, and keep us safe. Love you forever.

Cindy and I attended West Mecklenburg together. We were both in History and Drama classes and became good friends along with a couple of other crazy folks. We did a lot of projects together including one where we sang for the History class as part of a project. We had done a bunch of research on the 1930's-1940's and the day before the project was due we figured out that we were supposed to do the project on the 1960's-1970's (we were young and foolish). We had to figure out something to report on that took NO research - we chose music of the 1960's-1970's, got our information from the back of an album cover and a hair style magazine (Beatle's hair cut) then sang an Osmond Brothers tune - AND GOT AN "A" ON THE PROJECT.
Cindy did my hair for the senior prom, poofed up and hair sprayed like you would expect in 1976. If was so hot that my hair fell before the prom, she was crushed.
Cindy was a wonderful person, heaven is richer for having her.
