Daniel Leopold Dacres Jr.

Daniel proudly served this country as a sergeant in the U. S. Army. He retired from the New York City Transit Authority.

Daniel was a life time member of the masons, African 459 Lodge No. 63 in New York City.

He is survived by his wife Erna Dacres, his son Daniel L Dacres, III and his wife Raquel, his grandchildren Nylah and Jelani Dacres, a sister Norma Taylor and a sister-in-law Nita Dacres and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Daniel's Life held from 11:00am - 12:30pm on Tuesday, January 14 at Fountainhead Funeral Home. The entombment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
