David James Meredith, Sr.

Papa was a strong amazing man for us all. We will miss his strength and guidance, and most importantly his tight hugs and kisses….not hearing his “I love you, girl” or “I love you, boy” as we leave his presence; this will leave a wound that nobody on this earth can heal. We will cherish the sweet memories he leaves us with.

Although this earth will never again feel complete without him, we know he is in pure bliss with Nanny (the love of his life). With the strength of the good Lord and knowing Papa is where he has longed to be since Nanny left this earth in 2016, we will march on with grateful hearts and remember the promise of eternal life together.

He joins in Glory, previously departed by Anne Meredith (wife), daughter Susan Dixon, and grandchildren, Jonathan Dennis and James Dennis. He is survived by his daughter, Vanessa Dennis and son, David Meredith Jr., and grandchildren, Joshua, Heather, D.J., Justin, J.R, Kevin and many great-grandchildren.

John 14:1-4

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
