Diana C. Greene

Diana Justice Greene passed away on May 18, 2015 at Pineville Rehab and Living Center in Pineville, NC after suffering a stroke two years ago. She is predeceased by her husband Milton H. Greene, her father and mother William and Esther Justice, her brothers Bill Justice and Burke Justice. She is survived by daughter Esther Schlechta and son-in-law, Gregg Schlechta of Ft. Mill, SC, son Jeff Greene and daughter-in-law, Patty Greene of Grayson, KY, brother Ben Justice and sister Mary Ellen Wellman both of Melbourne, FL. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Ashland, KY on July 27, 1930. She married her high school sweetheart, Milton Greene, on August 19, 1950. She was a housewife and worked for several years as a school crossing guard and in the cafeteria at Meadowlane Elementary School in West Melbourne, FL. She was an active member of the Eau Gallie Christian Church and later at Harbor City Christian Church. She loved cooking, singing in the church choir, working on her plastic canvas needlepoint while watching old movies on the Turner Classic Movie channel and spending time with family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by her family.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Fountainhead Memorial Gardens in Palm Bay, FL. Viewing will be from noon to 1:00 PM followed by her memorial service and internment.
