Prior to Don's retirement, he worked as a skilled millwright at U.S. Steel before retiring to Florida with his bride, Sheree in 2018.
Don is survived by his lovely wife Sheree of eleven years and his family includes two predeceased sisters, Francis McDaniel and Sunny Jo White. He is survived also by his daughters, Carol Jo, & husband Jack and granddaughter Caitlyn; Dawn Lee & husband Michael and grandson Max; And Sheree's son Sean and wife Amanda, and their children Noah, Mya, Leo and Silas; and Sheree's daughter Courtney, and her daughter Chloe.
He is well remembered as relaxing and golfing with a Miller Lite beer, shooting a great games of pool with family and friends, and staying in awe of God's creations, using binoculars to watch wildlife on the Indian River estuary banks, and at the ocean. He relished time in his word search books, and he was a very talented wood-craftsman including creating furniture, bookshelves and picture frames, and he enjoyed time dining out and at the movies with Sheree and family.
Don's spiritual faith In God and Jesus was a great foundational truth that strengthened him and family all his life. He will be dearly missed but will remain forever in the hearts of family and friends. We are eternally grateful for the time shared with him.
