Donald Leon Pfohl, 76. Died Saturday, August 25, 2012 in Palm Bay, FL. To Don’s friends, he was known as “Big Guy”. He was born in Syracuse, New York and came to Barefoot Bay to retire in 2004 from Chittenango, NY. During his career he worked for several companies in Food Sales. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and several clubs in Barefoot Bay including, the Little Theater, the Irish Club, the Upstate New York Club, and the Volunteer Citizens on Patrol Program. He was an also an honorary lifetime member of the Sebastian Lions Club. During the summer, Don enjoyed spending time with his family in Oneida Lake.
Don is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pat; his sons, Donald, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Chittenango, Mark of Cicero, NY, and Jeffery and his wife Stacey of Plano, TX; and three grandchildren Sara, Jack and Jessica. Don was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa.
Services will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church at a later date. Donations can be made in Don’s name to the Sebastian Lions Club in Sebastian, Florida.
