“Peaches” (Dorothy) MacConnell of Satellite Beach died peacefully at home under the loving care of her family on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the age of 94. Born in Arlington, Massachusetts on March 2, 1920 she and her family came to Florida 1966. She gave of herself lovingly caring for her paraplegic husband Paul and quadriplegic son Ricky.
She considered her greatest accomplishment that of being mother to Jodi, Rickey, Nancy, and Danny. She will be treasured and remembered fondly as The Nanna and great grandmother to Beth, Amy, Janel, Janenne, Chris, Carri Michelle, Shawn, Holly & Scotty, Amanda, Brenda, Alicia, Aaron, Samantha, Justine, Lauren, Rhonen, Trystan, Madison, Hanna, Christopher, Riley, Gaven, Jackson, Sarah, Ephaney, William, Vincent; and mother-in-law to Paul and Carry.
The Nanna’s spirit will be dearly missed by her family.
Nanna has nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
