Edith Rose Dischinger, 70, of Palm Bay, died Saturday (12/7/2013) in a Melbourne Hospital. A native of New York City, New York, she came to the Melbourne area in 1998 from Homestead where she had worked as a tag clerk for the South Dade Auto Tag Office. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the Women’s Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She had also been a member of the American Business Women Association. Edith was very creative and artistic and put those talents to use drawing, making crafts and writing stories.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years: Joe; son: Joseph D. of Houston, Texas; daughters: Maria Thomas of Ocala, Karen A. Couch of Palm Bay; sister: Elizabeth Curran of Palm Bay; grandchildren: Nicole, Robert, Michael, Megan, Kenny, Bill, Amanda, Samantha, Natalie, Joey, and Jonathan.
