Edwin T. Brathwaite

Born in St Croix, US Virgin Islands, he was the son of Arthur Brathwaite and Evelyn Simon. He attended Boys High School in Brooklyn, New York. He was employed by the New York City Transit Authority and retired as a Deputy Superintendent. As a young man Edwin served in the United States Navy.

He was a member of The Palm Bay North Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Edwin enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed talking to people about the Bible. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality. Edwin never met a stranger and had an amazing sense of humor.

He is survived by spouse Pamela J. Brathwaite, 13 children, Steven (Donna), Andrew, Jeffrey (Sheryl), Daryl (Tammy), Sharrod (Janet), Kirean, Yvonne (Yves), Robert, Tovvah, Esther (Lawrence), Ashlee, Roland. 22 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, his siblings Anna, Lyle, Ronald, Wanda, and David, also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Anthony, his father Arthur, his mother Evelyn Seales, his sister Alice and Sue, and his brother Claude.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 1990 Fallon Blvd, Palm Bay, Florida, 32907 with interment at the Fountainhead Memorial Park.
