Elmer W. Quigley, 87, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday (7/12) in Vero Beach, FL. A native of Philadelphia, Penn. he came to the Vero Beach area in 1989 from New Jersey where he had been in sales in the Seafood Industry. He was a corporal in the Marines, having served in WW II and then served for a period in the US Army reserve. He was a member of the American Legion and along with being a hard worker he also had a great sense of humor.
Predeceased by a daughter: Janet Quigley, a grandson: Bobby Green and four brothers; Elmer is survived by his wife of 70 years: Margaret; a daughter: Peggy (Bob) Green of Vero Beach; three sisters; two grandchildren: Kelly (Mark) Corkins, Ryan (Janiese) Green; and five great-grandchildren: Ryan, Jr., Jade, Josephine, Garrick, and Jana.
