He was born on April 11, 1957. In Mount Vernon, New York. He grew up in Bronx New York.
Sonny moved to Florida after he proudly served in the Marine Corps.
He lived in Boca Raton, Florida and worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Deerfield Beach, Florida for 36 years.
Sonny enjoyed riding his Harley and going on bike runs for "Toys for Tots" and other motorcycle events. He loved Nascar, the New York Yankees and football.
He is survived by his wife, Annette K. Coppola, his son Erik, his daughter Emily, grandchildren- Gemini, Aria and Ethan. He is also survived by his brother, Ed and wife Marylou, his sister Arlene and partner Bob, his brother Errol, and his sister Dianna and husband Steve and his many nieces and nephews. His step-children Rich, Carrie and Nety.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Maryann Coppola and his son Emilio Coppola.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
