

Hazel Fields Webb, 86, passed away August 12, 2012 at Williams Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay. She was born December 27, 1925 in Lenoir County to the late Abner C. Fields and Hattie Pearl (Arthur) Fields. Hazel was raised by her Aunt Eula Swansen in Newnan, GA when her parents died at a young age.
Hazel graduated nursing school in Atlanta, GA where she met James Webb at a VA dance. They married in 1946.
Hazel worked as a Registered Nurse in Columbia, MO and Memphis, TN. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She volunteer her time over the years to assist children is crisis situations, and at hospitals. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Melbourne.
Hazel is survived by her husband James of Melbourne; her sons James Webb Jr of Garland, TX and his wife Barbara, Hubert Randolph Webb of Pembroke Pines and his wife Mariela, Aurther Webb of Melbourne Beach and his wife Karen; her daughters Eula Carol Garvey and Jean Webb of Evansville, IN, and Tammy Cleveland of Melbourne. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Justin Cleveland.
A visitation will be held Friday August 17, 2012 from 2-3 pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made in Hazel's memory to Central Baptist Church in Melbourne.
