Dear Aunt Rosie and Uncle Bill & Family
We just heard about Helen's passing today. We are so saddened, sorry, and shocked by the news. Helen was a beautiful person both inside and out, with a gentle soul. She always had a smile on her face. Please know that we are thinking of all of you with heavy hearts today. Aunt Rosie, you know how much my dad loved you, his only sister. He called you sister Rose, so don't worry, he will be there to greet Helen, and take her by the hand.

Helen's family; I am sorry for your loss.  Helen was my younger sister Shelley's friend in public school in Barrie and I liked her from the first time we met.  She was at our house frequently hanging out with Shelley and her other friends.   I was happy to see we connected on FB.  We have been sharing some old shots from the Barrie days.  Shelley & Helen in Grade 8 outside their public school. etc... 

My Favorite memory of Helen was when we were in grade 8.  I had just moved to Barrie and became friends with her brother Rex.  One day I bought her a bag of salt and vinegar chips and a coke, and when I gave them to her, she in turn gave me a kiss on the right cheek, and the spell was cast.  From that day on, she was my childhood crush, and she will forever have a piece of my heart with her. My deepest condolences to Travis, Khaila and her husband as well as the Nabor family. You will be deeply missed and forever loved. 

My life is full of memories that all stem back to my mom. I am who I am because of her and will cherish all of our times together forever. I remember Travis, my mom and I dancing around our house, laughing at each other and loving each other with a fierceness that compares to nothing else in the world. My mom always knew how to put a smile on anyone's face and was the most generous human I have ever met. She was the life of the party and loved to sing and dance. I remember her trying to teach me the robot and to this day, I am sure my daughter Zahra is the only one blessed with her rhythm. She was stunningly beautiful and had a smile that would make anyone smile back. Anytime she would laugh, you had to laugh back because her laugh was ridiculous. I can't pick any one memory to write here because I am so full of beautiful memories that are all equally important to me. I can't wait to see you again one day mom. I love you so much my sweet bella. xoxoxoxo urrrrrrrr big kisses muah muah muah

My favorite memory is my entire childhood spent over at Helen’s house and her always being a second mother to me. Her daughter Khaila was the first friend, Best friend, I made here in Florida as a second grader and I practically lived at their house hanging out, playing, messing with Travis, always enjoying Helen’s cooking. Helen treated me as her own and that never stopped even when we grew up. I will always cherish the times I spent at their lovely home and always being welcomed with open arms. I miss you & love you, mama. Rest peacefully angel. 

I can’t put into words my favorite memory of my mom because she made every day growing up perfect. She always wanted the best for me and my sister always doing everything in her power to make us happy and to know that we’re ok long before she’d ever think about herself. She was the greatest mom anybody could ever ask for. She was the strongest woman I’ve ever met and my hero. I love you mom to the moon and back forever and always urrrrrrrr
