Henry T. Wood, 69, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. He was born in New York City, New York and came to Brevard County in 2001 from Warwick, Rhode Island. Henry worked for Red Star Express, and retired as a truck driver for Teamsters 251.
He was a member of Moose Lodge #2311, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4249, and American Legion #0117, all in Palm Bay, Florida.
Henry is survived by his wife, Betty Wood; children, Denise McGarrahan, Sharon Lavallee, and Thomas Wood; four grandchildren, Brandon McGarrahan, Stephanie McGarrahan, Kyle Lavallee, and Zachary Lavallee; and one great-grandson, Haiden McGarrahan.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 4:00-7:00pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home, with a funeral service taking place on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
