He was raised on a dairy farm in Worthington MA. He was a long time resident of Indialantic, FL. John was a veteran of the United States Air Force, service in Korea during the Korean War. John first served the Town of Indialantic as a police officer in the 1970’s, later he became the Public Works Director and Building Official for a total of 26 years of service.
John is survived by his wife of 17 years Dorothy, 3 children, Cynthia Masters of Melbourne Beach, Shawn Eddy of Melbourne and Sheila Hobart of Palm Bay.
Memorial services will be Friday, June 25, 2010 at Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay, Inurnment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay, FL.
