October 28, 1923, in Whitsett, PA. John served his country in the U.S.
Army during WWII. He moved from Pennsylvania to Florida in 1946.
Before retirement John was a Brick Mason in the construction industry.
John was a member of the American Legion, a life member of the Loyal
Order of Moose, and had a lifetime membership in the International union
of Bricklayers and Allied Craft workers. He is survived by his wife LaRue
Orris; sons, John R. and Robert L. Orris; daughter, Kathy L. Stevens; eight
grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will meet friends
from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM Tuesday August 2,
2011. The visitation and service will be held in the chapel at Fountainhead
Memorial Funeral Home 7359 Babcock St. SE Palm Bay, FL 32909.
