John Francis White III (Jack), 69, of Melbourne / Palm Bay, Florida, sadly passed away March 24, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones; after a two week battle with Leptomeningeal Carcinomatosis and had bravely battled Multiple Myeloma for eight years.
He was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on January 21, 1954. Although he loved to travel and moved to Florida, he always considered Massachusetts home. Jack grew up on Edwin Street and graduated from Randolph High School, Randolph MA, Class of 1972. He had beautiful blue eyes, a quirky smile, kind heart, loyalty, a silly sense of humor, and was always wiling to help someone in need.
Jack had a lifelong career building and repairing church pipe organs; he proudly continued the family legacy started by his grandfather in the 1800s. He was a member of United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and a past Commodore of the Metropolitan Yacht Club in Braintree, MA. He had a passion for boating, and spending time with family and friends. His adored parents raised him on the water and he boated his entire life; but his amazing grandchildren are truly who and what made his life worth living.
He was preceded in death by his father John White II, mother Agnes Clouten, and grandson Timothy John Wright.
He is survived by daughters Christina (and Michael) Wright, Stephanie (and Nathan) Hummel, and a loved son. Nephew Richard (and Jenna) Mazurek. Grandchildren Kaylie (and Nicholas) Lagges, Dylan, Blake, Faith Hummel, and three other loved granddaughters. Great-granddaughters Isabella, Arianna, and Nicolette Lagges. Numerous cousins and beloved friends who became extended family.
There will be a celebration of life at Frigrate’s Waterfront Bar & Grill (Melbourne, FL) Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 6:30pm
