Lambert worked for Iowa- Illinois Gas and Electric Company as the IBM Computer Billing Supervisor. He was an active member of the Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, tennis, bowling and gardening.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by two sons: Rodney and Robert Meyer; daughter, Linda Meyer-Brown; and 8 grandchildren.
