From 1955 to 2000, he lived in New Castle, Delaware, where he was a long-time member of the Holloway Terrace Volunteer Fire Company, Station 20, in New Castle.
Larry proudly served in the United States Navy as a SPF3 (Shipfitter) during the Vietnam War. He served faithfully on two United State Navy vessels, the USS Dixie and the USS Bausell. He was a member of the American Legion Post 189 in Sebastian, Florida, for 25 years. Larry was also a dedicated member of the American Legion Riders, at Post 189.
Larry is survived by his sister, Carol Decker of Micco, Florida, and four nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 10:00am at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock St., SE, Palm Bay, Florida. A Reception with lunch will be held at the Sebastian Women's Clubhouse, 952 U.S. Highway 1, Sebastian (across from Advance Auto Parts) following services.
