

Linda Diane Scott, 60, of Palm Bay died Monday, February 4. Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Fl she moved to the Palm Bay area 10 years ago from Atlanta where she worked for the Rollins Corp. and Turner Broadcasting Corp. Prior to Atlanta, she attended and graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fl and afterwards worked for the Tallahassee Democrat Newspaper. In Palm Bay, she worked for Florida Blood Centers and volunteered her time for a variety of charitable causes, including the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure. Linda was an active member of the Centerpointe Church and exhibited passion about everything in which she was involved.
Preceded in death by her father Alexander Hunter, Sr., she is survived by: her mother Virginia Hunter, her brothers Alexander Hunter, Jr., Richard Hunter, and his wife Laura of West Palm Beach; Niece Alexis “Camille” Hunter; Nephew Alexander Cory Hunter; and grand-niece Naima Alexis Harper.
Memorial services will be held at Centerpointe Church on Sunday, February 17at 2 p.m. For friends who wish, the family suggests memorial donations made to the American Cancer Society call 1-800-227-2345 or on-line at http://www.cancer.org.
