Born in Catlettsburg, KY she was the daughter of Alonzo Childers and Minnie Gibson Childers. Marie enjoyed raising her family and working in department stores in Chester, PA and Jacksonville, FL before retiring.
Marie will be remembered for her kindness to everyone, enjoying her family, and sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Sands of Russell, KY; sons: Ronnie Huff of Orlando, FL., Glenn Darryl Huff of Palm Bay, FL, and Robbie Huff of Palm Bay, FL. She has 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons: Larry Huff and Kenneth Huff.
The graveside funeral service will be held on November 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery: 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL where interment will commence.
