Marylou was a native of Albany, Georgia. She worked as a nurse for the VA and retired in 1975. In 1983, she moved to Melbourne, Florida. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Palm Bay, Florida. She was a founding member of the Democratic Women’s Club of Palm Bay and was honored with a scholarship foundation in her name, Marylou Robinson Scholarship. Marylou had a passion for volunteering and community outreach. She was chair of the Citizen & Community Outreach committee in Palm Bay and former President of the Extension Homemakers of Brevard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan J. Robinson and her son, Richard Robinson and sisters Eleanore Robinson and Estelle Martin. She is survived by her brother Willie Malone (Williemae) and two sons: Eugene Williams of New Jersey and Theodore Robinson of Canada; two daughters: Sharon Barnhill of Alabama and Sheila James of Virginia; 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Saturday (1/11) at 10:30 AM for visitation
followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM.
