I just can't believe you are gone!  Yesterday was your birthday, we always think you on your special day. I am glad you are with the love of your life Karen you missed her so much.  I have tried to get in touch with your family and can not track anyone down so if any of you see this please call us 417-848-0425. My Hubby Mike worked with Mike in Florida with the phone company and he was my kids God Father.  Mike always called me a snow bird made me so made,  he loved it.  Every year we would talk about coming to visit , well we were finally gonna make it. We have been trying to get ahold of him and nothing. Finally checked Karens page and saw he hadn't left any messages I knew something horrible had happened and then searched deaths and and there it was, I am so shocked. You were to young to go!  We use to have so much fun back in the 70's and 80's. If any of the old crew from Ma Bell sees this, or Michelle or John Jacobs or Kathy, please connect with us. Bruce and I are so sorry to hear of Mikes passing. We feel so fortunate to have visited with him in February.  Love and peace to Christine, Amber and Michelle. Karen welcomes him with her loving arms.  

       None of us are perfect, but you must have done something right. God took mercy on you & you didn't suffer for long. I'm glad, but I hated to see you go. My deepest condolences on the loss of Mike. I knew him only as a neighbor, but he was the first person to recognize my giant, calm, Black Mouth Cur mix dog, "Padfoot", as a potential therapy dog. Mike urged me to get Padfoot tested, and he passed with flying colors. I saw Mike one day and told him we were in testing, and he was thrilled. But now I can't tell him that our second dog, "Bellatrix" is currently in testing. I think he would have been excited. Sassy loved to greet both my dogs on morning walks. 

I hope Mike is comfortable in Heaven, and that Sassy is happy in her new home. Again, I'm so sorry. He was such a nice person.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.   I did not have the pleasure of knowing Mike but he sounds like a wonderful man,  who was loved by many.

We met Mike and Ruby when he moved to Harmony Place.   We liked him and Ruby immediately.  Over the years our shared "Happy Hours" have been fun, DIY informative, political and dog friendly.  We will miss him and cherish the time we spent with him.  I only knew Karen, his mom,his daughters, previous Rottweilers  thru life stories he shared with us.  These stories always gave us a glimpse of how good a man he was and how much he enjoyed and loved life with them.  We are so sad to say good bye to Mike but know he is with his beloved Karen.  We are really going to miss you man.

I was so sad to learn that Mike passed away.  I always enjoyed our telephone conversations when he would call our office.  I never met Mike in person but he was truly a wonderful person.  He was so excited last year when he took the trip from Florida to go see his friend, Wayne, in Montana.   He sent pictures all along the way and I was so thrilled to put a face to his name when he called in.

To his two daughters, Christine and Michelle, you have my deepest sympathy.   My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

We met Mike & Karen when my wife & I transferred with bell south from Miami,one of our first friends in Melbourne they even had a welcome party for us when we adopted our daughter from Romania,we will miss you our friend, Russ & Heidi.

We've  known Mike for over 26 years and shared so many laughs and great times with him and Karen.  Our hearts are heavy with our loss but so glad he is no longer suffering.   He is in a better place and I'm sure Karen is with him. 

Rest well, my friend.  We were so blessed to have you in our lives.

We met Mike and Ruby, his first therapy dog when we had OUR first therapy dog, Xena, also a Rottweiler. We all became fast friends. We lost our Xena to bone cancer and got Zoe about 4 months later. When Ruby passed, Mike said he didn’t want another dog. But, we introduced him to Sassy, and he fell in love. We got to do therapy dog work again with them. And what a joy it was! We also saw them socially and at several pool parties with our dogs. I feel such a loss right now. We miss you so much, Mike.

When Mike and his first therapy dog Ruby joined Space Coast Therapy Dogs, they were such a great addition to our organization.  They were a hit wherever they went.  When Mike lost Ruby and was so devastated I worried that he wouldn’t want to move on with another dog.  But his passion for doing the therapy dog work led him to Sassy.  He worked with her tirelessly and she was another product of his love for dogs. She was a wonderful therapy dog.  He told me recently that he didn’t realize how much love and compassion a therapy dog gives to those they visit until these past months when Sassy became HIS therapy dog.   Rest In Peace my friend, you will be missed💞

Hard to believe just a couple years ago you and sassy were right here visiting us.  The years have flown by since we met in the sixties.  Loved all the adventures we had  working at Bell.  Rest in peace until we meet again. 

We came to know many neighbors while walking our dog, and Mike was the very first we met. Argus and Sassie became fast friends, but our pooch had no bigger two-legged fan than Mike (who appeared to love all dogs) -- and the feeling was mutual by Argus.

He was kind and thoughtful, spending Tuesdays visiting cancer patients with therapy dog Sassie. He was friendly and loving -- toward Man and beast -- always asking about his "favorite neighborhood boy" Argus (as well as us). He made Floridana and our world a better place. Our neighborhood won't be the same without seeing his smiling face and constant companion Sass-a-Frass.

The first time I saw Mike, he was walking Sassie down A1A .  I always noticed Sassie because she was a Rottie with a tail.  I thought I would like to meet them one day.  Then he moved to Floridana Beach, what a gift.   They were instant hits in our close community.  Mike became involved in our garden club and even helped me in the Memorial Garden at the County Park just south of us.  

Mike and Sassie came over often to visit and play with our Rottie, Angel.   We had great talks while he walked Sassie everyday around the neighborhood.  We will all miss him so very much.  They just don't make people like Mike anymore. 

Godspeed "M".  It was a tough fight my friend but you gave it your best. Rest now  and be content, you and Karen are finally together again. Love you man!!
