

The funeral service was held on April 14th 2022 at 11:30 AM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 12:30 PM, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909 Elder Vere Weaver of Palm Bay SDA Church officiated. Internment followed in Fountainhead cemetery. A repast will occur Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Veterans of America - Post 394 American Legion, 396 Cogan Drive SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
Norma was born in Nuevitas Cuba to Vivian Josias Dawes and Zilla Matilda Dawes on February 6th 1927. She was schooled at Calabar in Kingston Jamaica.
After her mother's illness, she decided to study nursing and migrated to England, then to the USA.
Norma accepted Christ as her savior and served Him in Palm SDA Church, where she was a very active member of the choir.
Norma is preceded in death by her sister Etha (Pat) and her brother Carlton.
Norma is survived by Arthur and Elsie Cardoza, Anthony Carby. Grandchildren, Donna, Norma, Sophia, Andre, Kevin, Steven and Gemma. Great grandchildren, Cameron, Julia, Kayla, Alexandre, Nicoli, Taylor and Eden.
The family of Norma Viola Dawes Henriques wished to extend our sincere thanks and deepest gratitude to Ms. Merita and her caring staff, who cared for Norma in her last years.
