Before retiring, Pauline worked as a processing analyst. One of her proudest career accomplishments was being responsible in assigning work to all of her co-workers. She was a proud member of Communication Works of America (CWA) and a member of the Pioneers. She was very involved in both.
Pauline always had a passion for music. In her adolescent years, she played the violin in her school’s orchestra. The skill was one that she inherited from her father. She played quite well, thus it is no surprise that she was asked to perform many violin solos. Some of Pauline’s favorite songs were “Amazing Grace”, “For the Good Times” by Ray Price, and “I Trust Jesus” by Collingsworth.
Some of Pauline’s hobbies when she was younger were bowling and roller skating. Blue was always her favorite color.
Anyone who knew Pauline knew that she was very family oriented. Her proudest family moment was when her son, Michael, was born on April 13th, 1959. Throughout her lifetime, they remained close. During this time, the births of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren were added to the collection of cherished memories.
Pauline was a wonderful, caring woman. She had a big heart and will be missed by many.
Pauline was preceded in death by her mother Beatrice and father John.
Pauline is survived by her sister Rae Bernice Kochakian (William); son Michael Scott Butler (Sherry); grandson Christopher Michael Butler; Granddaughters: Ashley Tamar Gohl (Joshua) and Brooke Arielle Butler; Great-grandchildren: Elijah Xavier Butler, Logan Ethan Butler, Ethan Alexander Butler, Addison Aidra Gohl, Joshua (Bo) Richard Gohl, Isabell Anne Butler, Abigail Grace Butler, and on the way Jace Ezra Gohl; and her dear friend Karen Patton.
