Richard “Dick” Gee passed away on September 6 at age 94. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara, two daughters, Nancy Schehr and Carolyn Ploger, and four grandchildren, Renee, Lauren, Dylan and Kyle. Dick and Barbara were 25 year residents of Barefoot Bay, moving in 2015 to be nearer to family. They previously lived in Paramus, N.J. for 38 years.
Dick was very much involved in the activities of Barefoot Bay. He was an active Director of the Barefoot Bay HOA for 12 years and a Director of the Micco HOA for 10 years. He was an inspector for ARCC for 15 years, a 15 year participant in the Brevard COPS program and delivered food for the “Meals on Wheels” program for 4 years. Dick and Barbara enjoyed being active members in the R.V. and bocci clubs for their entire time in the Bay.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00pm on Sunday, September 24th at Fountainhead Memorial 7359 Babcock Street S.E., Palm Bay.
