

Celebrating the life of Robert H. Hogan (October 9, 1934 – August 6, 2015) - Robert (Bob) H. Hogan departed this life for his eternal rest Thursday, August 06, 2015. He survived his wife of 49 years, Dixie Hogan, who passed away seven years ago in September of 2007. He leaves behind 3 children, Robert L. Hogan of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Crystal Turner of Melbourne, FL, and Kelly Allred of Orlando, FL; two brothers, David Hogan of Viera, Florida, and Jimmy Hogan of Suffolk, Virginia; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Bob was born in Petersburg, Virginia to Walter and Hazel Hogan. As a young man, he joined the United States Army and was a member of the 82nd Airborne stationed at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. He attended Elon College in North Carolina before he and his wife moved to Melbourne, FL in 1958. It was at this time that he started his 30+ year career at Harris Corporation (known then as Radiation) in Computer Operations and Data Services. His hobbies included fishing, and spending time with family (especially his grandkids) and friends. He was also happy to be actively involved in the care and management of the Castaway Cove Condominium where he enjoyed living the last 27 years of his life.
Services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Fountainhead Funeral Home Chapel, 7359 Babcock St. SE Palm Bay, FL 32909 beginning at 10:00 am.
