Robert Preston

Robert Preston, 62, passed away on 10/30/2021 at Holmes Regional Medical Center. He was born in Queens, NY. He was the son of Ocie Lee Preston and Robert Carter. He graduated Grover Cleveland High School, went to trade school for Commercial Trucking, and worked in the Automotive Industry for many years.

Robert enjoyed music and singing, football, wrestling, basketball, boxing, pranks and humor, being outdoors in nature and bird watching, watching movies, cooking his favorite meals. He will be remembered for his love and tenderness toward his loved ones, his beautiful laugh, and singing voice, his love for a good laugh and being the center of attention and making everyone laugh.

He is survived by his siblings, Gregory Preston, Brenda Miller, Donald Preston, and Carolyn Gillett; his brothers-in-law Liston Gillett and Gregory Miller. He is survived by his son, Robert Cole, and also by his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The viewing will be held on November 3, 2021 at 6- 6:30 at Fountainhead Funeral Home at 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay Florida, 32909. A Memorial service will be announced in New York City at a later date.
